"TurboJet" and "TurboJet OZ" turn up in a lot of searches from people who've seen the little handheld blower somewhere - a mate's van, a camping Facebook group, a Trustpilot review - but aren't sure which model they're actually looking at. TurboJet OZ sells more than one device these days: a compact blower, a smaller/cheaper version of it, a vacuum attachment that clips onto the blower, and a separate dedicated cordless vacuum. Here's how the range actually breaks down, and which one fits what you're trying to do.
The TurboJet OZ lineup at a glance
| Model | What it is | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| TurboJet PRO | Cordless handheld blower, 130,000 RPM | $174.99 | An all-rounder around camp - dust, mattresses, fires, drying gear |
| TurboJet Mini | Smaller, lighter cordless blower, 110,000 RPM | $99.99 | Light jobs on a tighter budget, or if size and weight matter more than power |
| Vacuum Kit PRO | Vacuum attachment for the TurboJet PRO (not a standalone device) | $34.99 | PRO owners who want suction as well as blowing, without buying a second device |
| TurboJet Vac | Standalone cordless vacuum, HEPA filtration | $119.99 (currently sold out) | A dedicated vacuum for the car or workshop, once back in stock |
TurboJet PRO - the all-rounder
The PRO is the flagship, and the one most people mean when they just say "TurboJet." Brushless motor, removable battery, four twist-lock nozzle tips, up to 130,000 RPM and an air exit speed of around 260 km/h - it's built for quick jobs around camp rather than one specific task: clearing sand and dust, topping up a mattress or paddleboard, fanning a struggling campfire, blowing water off gear after rain. We've covered it in full detail, including real owner feedback on battery life, in our TurboJet PRO review.

TurboJet Mini - smaller and cheaper
The TurboJet Mini - noticeably smaller and lighter than the PRO.
The Mini uses the same twist-lock tip system as the PRO, but everything else is scaled down: 110,000 RPM against the PRO's 130,000, an air speed of around 162 km/h (45 m/s) against the PRO's 260 km/h, and 205g against the PRO's 350g. It's genuinely pocketable rather than just "smaller" - 131 x 86 x 37mm - and at $99.99 it's the cheaper way into the range if you don't need the PRO's extra power. The trade-off shows up in runtime: a few customer reviews on the Mini mention getting around ten minutes per charge before needing to swap it onto charge again, so it suits quick jobs better than an extended clean-up.

Vacuum Kit PRO - turns your PRO into a vacuum
The Vacuum Kit PRO - an attachment, not a separate device.
Worth being clear about what this actually is: the Vacuum Kit PRO isn't a standalone vacuum, it's a $34.99 attachment that clips onto the TurboJet PRO's twist-lock system and gives it suction instead of just air-blowing. It's built for filters, seat gaps, and other hard-to-reach spots rather than a full vacuum job - think "quick suction pass" rather than "replaces your handheld vacuum." It's PRO-specific, so it won't fit the Mini. If you already own a PRO and occasionally wish it could suck instead of blow, this is a cheap way to get that without buying a second device.

TurboJet Vac - a dedicated cordless vacuum (currently sold out)
The TurboJet Vac - a separate device from the PRO/Mini blowers, built specifically for suction.
This one's a genuinely different product to the PRO and Mini, not just an attachment - a dedicated handheld cordless vacuum with a brushless motor, 16,000Pa of suction, HEPA filtration, and a claimed 60+ minutes of runtime. The rear vent doubles as a mini blower, so it covers both directions, but suction is clearly the point here rather than an afterthought. At the time of writing it's listed at $119.99 but showing as sold out on TurboJet OZ's site, so it's worth checking back rather than treating this as buyable today. If you need something now, the PRO plus the Vacuum Kit PRO attachment covers a decent chunk of the same ground for less outlay - it just won't match the dedicated Vac's HEPA filtration or continuous suction runtime.
Which TurboJet should you buy?
- Want one do-it-all tool for camp: TurboJet PRO - the most power and the best-documented option, backed by our full review.
- Tight budget, or want the smallest/lightest option: TurboJet Mini - noticeably less powerful and shorter runtime, but $75 cheaper and genuinely pocket-sized.
- Already own a PRO and want vacuum capability too: Vacuum Kit PRO attachment - cheap, and no second device to store.
- Want a dedicated vacuum for the car or workshop: TurboJet Vac once it's back in stock - or the PRO + Vacuum Kit PRO combo in the meantime.
